Bridgemere Community Church is based in the centre of a large residential area of Eastbourne known as Roselands / Bridgemere with a growing community of people of all ages.

The church was started in 1990 by a group of Christians living in the area who were aware that there was no other Christian witness on the Bridgemere & Roseland's estates.

In June 2001 Bridgemere Community Church became committed to a relationship with City Gate Church in Brighton and the Pioneer National Network of Churches. The leaders of City Gate, Andy & Yvonne Au provide apostolic input and oversight of our leadership team. We believe that this ensures accountability for the leadership team, encouragament for the whole church and a wider vision than just Eastbourne

We do actively share fellowship with all of the Christian churches in the town and do successfully work closely and constructively with the other local churches in our wider area.

We are a member of the UK Evangelical Alliance and the Eastbourne Evangelical Alliance.

We welcome people from any part of Eastbourne and surrounding area who share our desire to see the people of Bridgemere & Roseland's hear and understand the message of Jesus and to have an opportunity to accept or reject Jesus as Lord. This is described further on the page entitled What we do.
