The Bridgemere Centre is a community building and facility set in the heart of our mission area.

About 5 years ago God started to move a number of people to pray and investigate the possibility of taking on the community facility, to refurbish and restore it, and to make it a place where the local community would feel at home through a wide range of social activities.

After much prayer and long negotiation, the Centre was opened on May 6th 2000.

The facility has come clearly from a vision that God gave to the Church Leadership of active community involvement. The church embraced this vision and provided a healthy sum of money plus practical support to enable the vision to become a reality. it has never been the intention for this building to become a 'church building' We do believe that God has provided the finance and facility for this Centre to be an open bridge into both the community and the lives of the people living in the locality. One of our core values 'our Community for God' reflects this aim and purpose.

We will not 'Bible bash' anyone who visits the Centre. we do offer to be available to talk and pray with anyone and through our lifestyle and demenour plus the high standards of cleanliness of the buildings and the welcome of the staff, we try to express the love of Jesus in practical ways.
